 Rose’s case made history and has been used to help many women and families in crisis situations. Saving Our Women Outreach Ministry was birthed in 2001 and officially established, to educate, encourage and give hope to those women who had previously suffered and are presently being victimized and abused through domestic violence. Also, Saving Our Families was birthed. One of the goals is to provide information and tools that are needed through workshops, seminars and conferences that are needed to help build the whole family.

Saving Our Women was founded 1995 when God spoke to Rose Parker, when she was in prison doing life. Allowing God to use her through facilitating Breaking Barriers and Victim Impact Awareness classes, He revealed the ministry and named it. Rose Parker had been in CIW prison for 15 years when former California Governor Gray Davis signed her release in 2000 acknowledging to the world in a press release on 9-25-00 stating that Rose had suffered from BATTERED WOMEN SYNDROME in a domestic violence relationship, stating the law was not in effect to protect Ms Parker.

Since the “unveiling” of her book, Beat Up, Beat Down and STILL STANDING the Rose Parker Story, Dr. Rose has been throughout California promoting her book of HOPE.  Dr. Rose said “I’m going to Texas , that’s where I’ll begin” and God used Opening Doors FWIN to open the door.  Dr. Rose plans to visit and attend services at the Potters House in Dallas , TX on February 24, 2008 stating” when I was in prison the Bishop T.D. Jakes and Woman Thou Art Loosed Conference satellite into the prison I was in “CIW” and, it helped change my life.  And, just as I had faith to be released from prison, I had faith to be at a WTAL Conference. God even allowed me to share my testimony there in 2003.”
